autumn in countryside

Must be the season of the witch. Today has been sunny and beautiful. Views in this area were magical. Wind was cold but the sun warmed me a bit. Fresh air felt good. I heard crickets and birds while being outside. I will miss that when winter arrives. 

Some trees have lost all their leaves already but I'm glad we still have many colors.

Trees are in green, yellow, orange and brown. Sky is bright blue. Fantastic. 

Tansy, tanacetum vulgare, is still blooming from late summer.

Walked to the beach and saw a pair of swans swimming in the pretty blue lake. 

Living by the lake would be like a dream.

I used to live in the countryside for many years. It has upsides and downsides. Spring, summer and autumn are very beautiful but winter feels very long and even more cold than in the city.
