the bird tower

September has been very sunny so far. I can't believe it's already been a week since I made my first post. It feels warm. Everything is still quite green. I can feel that summer is over but autumn is not on it's fullest yet. I did a little bit of autumn decorating at home to get into mood and will keep decorating more during the month. I've been reading Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and it's an amazing fiction story for all nature lovers. I would absolutely recommend it. If you're not a fan of reading they made a movie of the book that is currently playing at cinemas. I haven't seen the movie but I might have to give it a try since the book is great.

I saw horses on the field and wanted to take nice pictures. Too bad they were eating a bit too far for my camera to reach so here's a picture of the horses showing their tails.

I started walking across the field to climb up to a small tower built for bird watching.
I didn't expect to be alone but I was surprised by how many people had time to be there on thursday morning with binoculars watching the birds. These pictures show the view from the tower. I don't have a picture of the tower itself because I didn't want to include the people in my photos. It's very sad that the lake in the area is highly eutrophic. It still suffers from the past when they used to dump trash into the area until early 80's. However, birds seem to really love this place.
I felt a bit anxious surrounded by the people so I did not stay for long in the tower. I decided to take a short walk in the forest area. There was duckboard to help me walk in the forest. Some areas were damp but it made my adventure more exciting.

Follow the path your heart wants to take.
Don't take advise from people that have a lifestyle you wouldn't want for yourself.
Live today.
It's not always easy for me. I wanted to do this journey yesterday but ended up staying in bed. It was my day off but I felt so lazy and low. Today I was brave, and I got myself up in the morning. Some days may be bad but there will always be a better day after a really bad day. Thank you.
