autumn equinox

Autumn equinox will be tonight. It's time to clean up home and mind from negative energy and then get into cozy mood. The dark and cold time of the year is coming back and summer is only a memory. I was super excited about autumn and I've been collecting autumnal decor throughout September. My favorite colors for decor right now are orange, autumn yellow and purple. Today I'm showing you the autumnal colors at my home. I have so many pumpkin decorations for this season. 

This is how my dining area looks at the moment. 

I love scented candles and the autumn smells. This pumpkin vanilla creme candle is divine. 

My bed is always a bit of a mess. The pink duvet is shiny and slippery fabric so the pillows keep falling off and are hard to pose. Autumn yellow cushion covers and blanket are new for the season. 

               I started reading the classic Anne of Avonlea by L. M. Montgomery. 

Baking apple and cinnamon oatmeal crisp. Local apples are really tasty in September.
